Ruedhas is much more than an ordinary food truck, it’s a rolling stone bringing about its motto: “Embrace the moment, Indulge food and Nourish your soul”. This creative project, founded by a group of three good friends, started from scratch after they decided to purchase an old truck, restore it and hit the road!
From field to fork
An important feature of this mobile food truck is that its menu is entirely vegetarian. All the ingredients used are carefully selected and locally sourced. None of these young talented professionals had previous experience in the gastronomic field, however they had a deep passion for food and healthy lifestyle. Following the advice from Huerta sin Frontera (an NGO that promotes permaculture farming) they developed their own vegetable garden. Much emphasis is set on eating seasonally, combining fresh and natural ingredients; they have even implemented a cracker plate which pairs well with the salads served -whilst reducing the waste footprint…to crumbs-.
Always go the extra mile
This unique itinerant enterprise aims to connect people with each other, the environment and food. Wherever it goes, it transforms the space into an inviting setting for families and friends to gather. The truck offers a broad range of veggie options and natural fruit juices, and it has a little bookshelf for the foodies. No matter where the road takes them, if it is a uni campus in the Sunny Andean region or a vibrant location in the middle of Buenos Aires, this food truck is always up for a voyage to spread the word on Healthy Eating Habits.
