The Nudge Explores Circular Cities tour will visit Kalundborg in Denmark on May 12 - 13. In Kalundborg, people have lived with the -first forms of- Symbiosis for 55 years. Symbiosis is a group of companies for which the waste product of one company is a resource for another enterprise. In professional terms; it's circular economy in full swing.
In Kalundborg, I would like to speak to the people who in some way are connected to Symbiosis. The founders I would like to ask: what was your vision when you started out 55 years ago? Did you aim for a sustainable, circular initiative, was Symbiosis an answer to a problem, or did you simply see it as a good way to make money? I would like to ask their grand kids, even great-grand kids, their view of the world. How do they see the future? What do they think or understand of their families' work? And is the concept of a residue-less world natural to them, or still something that needs to be actively implemented?
