Recycle unsold bread in beer, it is possible. That's what the Brussels Beer Project is doing with it's freshly released beer Babylone. Inspired by local actors, Beer Project spent a year prototyping a new kind of beer that uses unsold fresh bread to substitute malt as a raw material. Every month BBP brews 12.000 bottles of bread beer and saves about 500kg of bread from being wasted.

Once parents are done using them, they can send them back to Tale Me where they are made available to be used again by other families. Based on the principles of the functionality economy, the clothes are fixed up to be used again. Instead of using low quality items that are being tossed out after minimal usage, these items are designed to last and can be used over and over again.
