Nudge Explorers Circular Cities proudly presents the 5 winners of the Nudge Leadership Challenge 2014. The 5 Dutch Young Leaders in Sustainability will be touring Europe by train to investigate and promote the necessity and feasibility of a circular economy.
During the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference, which takes place in Paris from 30th November to 11th December 2015, Place to B offers not only a place to stay, but also a coworking space, a program of events and a “News Fab Lab” about climate and solutions for the ecological transition.
Beyond COP21, Place to B is above all a movement fuelled by all those who want to convey the message in a different way.
The principle of a circular economy is using the waste from one product as a resource for another. It means we stop looking at waste as something we have to dispose, and start looking at it as something we can utilise.
There is a relatively new way in which we can turn sludge from waste water into gas that is the same as ordinary, natural gas and can be used in the same way. Well, its new for humans to use. Nature has been using it since the beginning of time.
Have you come across the latest ideas on how to prevent food waste? Do you know the best producer of sustainable jeans? Do you want to share your innovative ideas on sustainable urbanism? We invite each visitor of the Nudge Sustainability Hub to send us content related to one of the topics. In this way you can share innovative news and insights coming from your neighbourhood, organisation, network, city, country or continent with our growing global community and anyone else who finds us on the internet. This is our invitation to you to give our new platform a firm nudge!
